What is a Static Image:
The term "static image" simply means a non-moving image. This includes posters, advertisements, pamphlets, billboards and so on. Anything which includes both images and text is considered a static image.

Key Points of Advertising and Static Images:
¡ The main purpose of all advertising is either to sell, promote or persuade an audience of a particular point of view.

¡ All advertisements have a particular group at whom they are aimed at. This group is called a “Target Audience”.

¡ Various techniques are used by advertisers to effectively reach this target audience and achieve their purpose. Most advertisers
manipulate or pressure their audience to react in a certain way.

¡ Techniques can be divided into two categories:
¡ Visual (techniques you can see) or Verbal (written).
